New Goals

So its been a while since I've written something here and I thought I would issue a challenge to myself to make an attempt to write more frequently. Because apparently just saying doesn't seem to do anything. My plan is to try and come up with and (gasp) actually post an article a week. This is a more ambitious endeavor than I have yet undertaken, but it still seems doable. Mostly. We'll see.

Part of the sporadic nature of my postings is that I tend to only post when the mood strikes me and I have not been able to find the funny very much lately. Maybe things got too serious, perhaps I got an overinflated sense of myself and my responsibilities; whatever the reason, I am not all that good at being serious, and I am pretty sure the lesson here is to stop trying entirely.

I am not suggesting that I shirk my responsibilities, but more that I should stop trying to be so uptight. Because I am really not that good at it. On the other hand, I am well versed in being bonkers, so I guess I should play to my strengths.

The world is a funny place and I am looking forward to rekindling my silliness and "embracing the funny" again. See what I did there...hilarity.

I may be a bit rusty.

PS. I realize that writing a post about how I should be writing more posts shouldn't count as a post, but it totally does. So there.
